I've been training with Bob for almost two years which is by far the longest I have stuck with any sort of training or exercise program. That in itself is testimony to working out with Bob! In a fairly short time, I could notice a significant increase in my fitness. My posture and core strength improved, my legs were stronger, my ankles and wrists had a better range of motion. Each 30-minute session targets all areas of the body, and Bob changes the program about every 8 weeks to ensure a variety of exercises.

As a trainer, Bob starts where you are. Not only is he encouraging, but he is also very knowledgeable about the science of exercise and fitness. He makes sure that each activity is done with proper range of motion and form so as to ensure the best results and avoid injury or muscle strain.

The thirty minutes seem to fly by. At the end of the session, I feel tired but accomplished and have also enjoyed time spent chatting with Bob. I highly recommend this program!

Yep, it's true, weight training once a week will build muscle as long as you keep challenging that muscle, and Bob makes sure you do. I have been training with him for almost 5 years, and becoming stronger has significantly reduced episodes of back pain and hand pain from arthritis, improved my balance, stamina and posture so I can continue to walk long distances and hike where I want. Also, increasing muscle mass can improve sleep, which has been true for me.

Bob's program makes weight training incredibly easy. He is extremely knowledgeable, has more exercise machines than I have ever seen gathered in one place, keeps track of repetitions and makes sure you continue to increase weight safely. He also changes things up frequently. Bob's "secret sauce", though, is his funny and engaging presence. Training with Bob has become something I look forward to, and the time goes quickly.

I would encourage any one to start weight training with Bob. When done safely, there is no downside. Before I started with Bob, I had many good intentions with nothing to show for them. Bob meets you where you are, respects your individual goals, provides structure, and encourages you, all of which greatly increase motivation.

I started my exercise sessions as a 70 year old male. I would describe my physical condition at the beginning as 'pretty bad', with lower back weakness.
